The Think Foundation Bursaries
The Institute of Fundraising Scotland, in partnership with The THINK Foundation, offers a bursary scheme for fundraisers who wish to attend The Scottish Conference. There are 6 bursaries available for full passes to the conference.*
Four are aimed at individuals working with charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises with a total organisational annual turnover of £500,000 or less. You should be new to fundraising and wish to increase your skills and knowledge concerning sources of funding and fundraising techniques. To qualify you should be either a paid or volunteer fundraiser or someone wishing to take up fundraising as a career.
The other two are aimed at people in organisations of any size or income who are facing a significant new challenge in their post. For example, fundraisers that are about to embark on their first capital appeal, establishing a direct mail programme etc. In addition to the bursary award, you the winning applicants will be given half day consultancy support to support them with an area of their choice.
Applicants who send in supporting information - e.g. annual reports, CVs publicity materials for their organisation etc - have a better chance of success. Please send any such materials to the address at the bottom of the page.
