JulAnnual Fundraising Awards Nominations now open
We would like to invite you to submit your nominations for the annual Institute of Fundraising awards.
The Fundraising Awards recognise excellence in fundraising practice. They provide the Institute of Fundraising Scotland and more importantly its members, with the opportunity to profile Charities and Fundraisers for the great work they undertake to benefit the community.
Nominations can be made online at www.scottishconference.org.uk where you can also book your place to attend the annual Institute of Fundraising conference.
The four awards available are detailed below. In all cases the judges will be looking to see a clear demonstration of best practice.
Volunteer fundraiser of the Year sponsored by Dunfermline Building Society
This award will go to a volunteer fundraiser who has made an outstanding and inspirational contribution to the sector through their work.
Fundraiser of the Year sponsored by the FRSB
This award will go to an individual fundraiser who has made an outstanding contribution to their organisation and the sector as a whole.
Partnership Fundraising Award sponsored by the PFRA
This may be a campaign, event, appeal, capital project or any other activity, including national and international emergencies. The winner will demonstrate strong collaborative working from inception to fruition and the judges will seek evidence that it lays the foundation for future funding and partnership development.
A partnership encompasses any partnership including any of the following: statutory, corporate, community/general public, joint charity work, trusts and foundations.
Direct Marketing and Communications Award
For campaigns communicating with existing or new supporters across the full spectrum of direct marketing channels: print, (direct mail/inserts, annual reviews/newsletters), electronic media (email and website), and telephone/SMS.
