Previously Community Fundraising Manager at WaterAid, and a graduate trainee at NSPCC, Gemma is Deputy Director of a department that incorporates local group fundraising, volunteer-led shops, national events, community partnerships and mass fundraising activities. Gemma has been at Save the Children for 4 years and is passionate about the transformational effect that true volunteer empowerment can have on building sustainable communities of support for voluntary organisations.
