Biography:
Lorna is Volunteer Fundraising Manager for Scotland at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. She started in March 2010 and has been responsible for growing Scotland's supporter base to deliver significantly increased net income. Lorna's previous volunteer fundraising experience was with Cancer Research UK and she also worked on Marie Curie Cancer Care's Big Build Appeal.

In 2010/11 the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign launched a volunteer-led fundraising strategy. After the first year the charity has enjoyed a growth of 431% in net contribution from Volunteer Fundraising. This session will share how the charity changed it strategy, structure and operations to facilitate such growth and how they plan to consolidate and further these achievements.
