Biography:
Fiona joined THINK Consulting Solutions as a senior consultant in October 2006. She has 16 years experience in the voluntary sector. Most recently she was Director of External Affairs at Capability Scotland.
Before that Fiona was Head of Development at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and WaterAid’s Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Fiona chaired the Institute of Fundraising in Scotland from November 2003 until June 2006. She won Professional Fundraiser of the Year in 2004 for her leadership of Giving Scotland and was awarded a Fellowship of the Institute in January 2007

This session is for everyone who is looking to recruit new supporters - and retain them. Fiona will invite speakers from across the globe to share their experiences of which donor acquisition techniques are working in their part of the world. The carefully selected speakers will showcase how charities are effectively using a variety of techniques to recruit new donors as well as explore how these are being used to maximum benefit to maintain donors’ interest. Participants will come away with lots of practical and appropriate ideas and suggestions about what might work for them.
